The House
The Maison Messouma is a house where haute couture clothing meets art and wellness. From its haute couture creations emerges an intimate and collective choreography, in which memories and genealogies intertwine to weave new, dynamic visions, like so many forms of resistance within a gesture of care, elegance, and perpetual transformation. While reaffirming its human connection to our environment and to nature, these creations give rise to an intimate and collective choreography, in which memories and genealogies intertwine to weave new visions, like so many forms of resistance within a gesture of care and transformation.
The Maison Messouma, created by Marie-Claire Messouma Manlanbien, blossomed after several years of reflection, creation, and research, maturing year after year during international residencies in Sydney, London, Spain, Ivory Coast, and Italy at the Villa Medici, the French Academy in Rome, where the founding artist was a resident. Several #SoundBath sessions, with limited capacity, were offered by Marie-Claire Messouma Manlanbien through Maison Messouma treatments.
Care
After several international exhibitions, such as at Gasworks, organized by the Tate Modern in London, and her residency at the Villa Medici, Académie de France in Rome, she decided to establish #Les Rendez-vous de la Maison Messouma, a moment in which those who wish can take part in a special experience: a sound bath full of poetry, music, and vibrations.
A Laboratory of research

Publishing
Born from a blend of art, care, research, and haute couture, Maison Messouma also produces biannual artistic editions.
